Guelph Wellington Local Food Initiative

Volunteer Request - Join Us Sunday June 23 from 11am to 5pm as a volunteer at the 8th Annual Local Food Fest

Sign up here -

The Food Fest is held at Ignatius Farm, minutes north of Guelph and is a lovely location for a fun day.  We will need lots of volunteers to help with a variety of activities.

Why volunteer?

There are so many reasons!  Come and learn about local food, get involved in your community,
be part of an amazing event, and most of all have fun.  You will be provided with a Local Food Fest
T-Shirt or hat, and delicious locally-prepared snacks will be available in the volunteer lounge
throughout the day.

If you aren't available to volunteer, consider coming out to attend this family-friendly event.  We'll
have the usual great line-up of music wagon rides, cooking demos, workshops, tasty foods, a
plant-sale, a farmers' market and new this year - a beer tent for sampling local craft beers.

If you have any further questions please contact the Volunteer Coordinator at
