ALL PROCEEDS GO TOWARDS GUELPH CHC PROGRAMS
At Guelph CHC we are committed to...
Working with our community to provide access to health programs and services and create opportunities for people to improve their well-being.
Proceeds from the event will support the following programs and services;
- Wellington Guelph Drug Strategy Committee: works to reduce the impact of substance misuse on the lives of the residents of Guelph and Wellington County. Funds raised will be used to support evidence-based drug prevention programming in our community.
- Garden Fresh Box Program: helps people access fresh, affordable produce and supports our local farmers. Funds raised will subsidize Garden Fresh Boxes.
- Guelph Wellington Local Food Initiative: promotes local food to citizens and industry to preserve and enhance sustainable agricultural diversity in the region. Funds from the run will support the annual Local Food Fest.
- Ontario Early Years Centre (OEYC): offers programs that promote learning through play and support families and caregivers as they develop coping skills, literacy skills and strong family relationships.
RUNNING SHOE RECYCLE PROGRAM
Donate gently used running shoes to people who need a pair to support their efforts to be physically active. A drop box will be available at the run!
